Almost every weekend, I head out to hike in the Presidio or the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), feeling thankful that as a San Franciscan, I live so close to one of the most beautiful places on earth. I think it's only fair to share my favorite spots with potential visitors, even though my neighbors have begged me to keep the delightful secrets of our backyard national park to ourselves! (Sorry, folks. National parks belong to everyone).
There's no particular order to the following list, since it seemed most important to categorize hikes by rigor, views and historical significance. Please visit the Presidio web site and trail map (linked below) for more information on visiting the area – the following are my highly subjective opinions, colored by personal hiking experience:
1. Stunning Golden Gate views, plus history: Start at the Crissy Field East Beach (enter heading west from Marina Blvd.) and follow this flat 1.5 mile trail (3 miles round-trip) to Fort Point, the Civil War-era fort at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. If you need sustenance, stop at the Warming Hut on the West Beach for sandwiches, coffee and other drinks, as well as very nice shopping. Rating: Easy (terrain is entirely flat).
I have seen the compare levitra, viagra and cialis page on the EDG homepage but I wanted to see if anyone who has been prescribed all three ED meds
